Marcus Sohn is one of the top loan officers in the country. He offers over 20 years of mortgage industry experience and has helped thousands of customers realize their dream of home ownership through financing. He is a University of Maine Orono graduate with a degree in Economics. Marcus joined Leader Bank in 2010 after 8 years at Wells Fargo. Leader Bank’s platform gives Marcus’s customers a wide range of products at the best price and ensures he is able to offer the right loan for each unique situation. Marcus was ranked the 25th highest producing loan originator in the United States in 2016 and consistently places in the top 10 of highest producing Loan Officers in Massachusetts. Since joining Leader Bank, Marcus has been the bank’s most successful originator and has built a very well run team around him that is focused on quick turn-times and customer service. Marcus is an avid golfer and a member and resident at Ipswich Country Club where he lives with his family.

Ben Hartnett, Loan Officer

Ben Hartnett is a JR Loan officer on the Marcus Sohn team. He is responsible for pre approvals, rate quotes and new transactions. Ben will ensure that your application process is seamless by answering all of your questions and making sure you are comfortable and fully aware of next steps. Ben Hartnett joined Leader Bank in 2012 after graduating from St Anselm College where he received his bachelor’s degree in International Business. He started as a Loan Officer Assistant on Marcus’s team and has continued to grow his role and is now a vital part of the team. Ben grew up in Auburn ME and is an avid Boston sports fan.
